[ joke mod on ] The best ist is probably to put a real helmet on , then just turn your sound very loud and you'll have an amazing special sound effect too ;) [ joke mod off ]

:P The funny race07.....I play on it since a few days and I luv driving
the good old cars.....BMW and Alpha of the 80's.

The elbow view for me is not very important...And most of all, when I see that you are working on the fluidity and the fx for the boost.
I must say personnally that it's all good news for me and my old computer...

@ Etienne the first one looks really good and that would be the best one for difficulty. If the player hosting the race could have it as an enforced option to be toggled on and off.

However the second one does allow you the better field of view, but for immersion definatly the first one.

I have no idea how hard it would be to impliment these on you great game but i for one would welcome it or them...
I survived "Patch gate only to end up in limbo".
Specs: Athlon 6000, 3gig ddr2 667mhz, 2*3870 in crossfire, xfi extreme 7.1.

The 2nd one is great and if you add trackir/freetrack support the immersion factor would be great especially when flying !

I cant really think of any improvements... Everything has been mention..
-Multiplayer
-High speed blurring (like in Most Wanted)
-Resetting on track (multiplayer at least) and Catch up so that you have some chance of getting back in the race...

Keep it up
This game is beginning to take off!!

definitively I prefer the first one :p
it change nothing to se more up and down. or maybe during jump. but I think they give us the possibility to change view during jump as well for the back view ;)
so : the first one, to rellay change from the existing view of NSR

Hello!
What a great idea regarding the possible other ingame views!! I think the both views that Etienne and Aut0-Lavabo have proposed seem to be very interesting :P
I also hope to see them ..

If you have Trackir then the 2nd view would give you enough visibility to turn your head and get a feeling of flight.. Should be fairly easy to implement since its just a matter of rotating the camera view based on the trackir axis input...

But yeh without Trackir an outside view would be great - i'd hate to say it.. but just like Trackmania ;)
