Multiplay

Just downloaded the demo, then bought the game!
Its just crying out for multiplay, LAN at least would be great, any chance of this happening?

Even after only a few plays I can see this game being a winner. I compare it to Flat Out 2, it is just great fun to play and most important to the more eldely of us gamers it is easy to control (must admit to using a Logitech G25) Not sure about the force feedback yet, seems a bit weak and hit and miss but as I have only played for a short time I will review this again.
Anyway keep up the great work, I will be telling my LAN mates about this one and look forward to trying it out against the lads at home (we get five or six computers going for a good session!)

I'll probably post the news with a huge font very soon ;-)
BTW, I solved the DQ and LocalRotVel problem, I just had forgotten to save these datas in the mNetDQ and mNetLocalRotVel members (Too much beer and wine probably). Now the F-Jets are not glitching anymore and the collisions are fine. Just need to clean up all the inits (we don't have the same number of cars on all machines).

Tonight is a very special night, a moment we've been waiting for years, and we just needed a few hours.... amazing

Hello

I love that game now:)
and i'll love it much more if:

* there will be a multiplayer via internet/lan and over a sphecific IP adress (for hamachi gameplay)

* music in the game will be better (sth like in nfsmw or nfs1 and 2 etc.)

* sterring is verry good, but i've noticed that there is in fact hard to fall down from that big loops of track even if i'm not using turbo... When i stopped in the middle (while beeing up spide down), car starts to fall... but it falls to slow for me... i mean-it doesn't look realistic enough ;) if u know what i mean..

* there will be fe some sound chat hot-keys, just like "taunt" sound in avp2. It could be nice to map some keys and to say sth while multi gameplay. It should be something funny ;)

* AND IMPORTANT: please: it would be awesome to have possibillity of making track by myself and ofcourse sharing that tracks via internet to be able to play multi on them..


Well, thats it for now... a quick preview of my thoughts after first play on NSR.

One more time: even now your game looks AWESOME! it reminds me one of the best games ever played in my life: Stunt Car Racer (played on unforgetable Amiga 500:D )

* it would be grat to include couple of tracks looking just like those from Stunt Car Racer in some kind of a race season. I man that big ramps and huge jumps possible only when you've got enough afterburner... :D

We're late. We're currently still testing the official update (yes maybe all of you have forgotten that the 0.2.3.5 was a beta).
This update must be tested in several languages, because there's currently 4 different versions of NSR available in the world (German, Polish, Russian, and English/French). All these versions are different and must be tested with the new update.
We must compile a new Master version of NSR (with a sligthly different demo content) as well.
It takes a lot of time, but we're nearly there.
Unless we haven't seen a very important bug, It should be released before the end of the week.
After that, and hoping that no new problem arrise, I'll work on the Multi-Beta, I promiss !
It shouldn't take too long then to have a new multi beta update.
I'll keep you informed.

Anyway, sorry for being late.
You can be sure that we're doing our best to release this multi beta as soon as we can.

Nice work on the update guys, really looking forward to the multi-player game. 8)

BTW, I have a quick suggestion to add. Any chance of adding a Confirm Quit button to the Quit Game command?

A few times now I've clicked Quit instead of Start. Easy to get the two mixed up I know. :oops: :roll:

(Having a few too many doesn't help!)

P.S. I think we need alot more English speakers on here. Not much goes on in the English section but I see the French areas buzzing with posts and I have no idea what you are all taking about!

Yes it will come, I've nearly put it in this update, but there was still some problems with it so I couldn't add it right now (I know it may seem stupid, but sometimes the simplest things can take more time to debug than complex ones).

Yes it's true, but it should improve with this update and with the upcoming multi beta....
And the French guys are doing a lot of advertising for us on their forums etc...
So you know what you have to do :mrgreen:
