like you could paint skins or you know 18Wheels of Steel series?
trucking games.. i know nothin to do with racing games but
this could have something like its own Mod folder and Music folder to listen your own music =)

PS. your menus are little bit crappy

You'll be able to customise your F-Jet in the Stage 3.
We already have a tool internaly to do skins, but it's not very usable so we want to improve it before putting it into the game.

Concerning the music folder, we've already thought about that, and we may put this feature one day. I believe it's not a crucial feature though, since most players just turn off the music when they play (even if it's good...).

What do you not like in the menus ? behaviour or look or both ?

behaviour feels a lot weirder than TM series.. try something like Sunrise or Nations menu =)

Menus is great (and music in menu :) ). Simply, well-arranged and comfortable. Imho nothing to change ;)

Folder for own music is good thing and I think not hard to create :)

hy all !!! personnally i don't like TM, even if I understand that people love it.
I prefere real driving like GTR2 or other games like NFS or race driver ....

Otherwise, to speak about NSR, I don't care about the music, but I think it could be great to optimize the sound of the cars, not the boost but the V10,
i would like to ear a loud and powerfull sound of engine.
In that same way a sound for each class of cars can be also a good thing even in the race because the cars are different; and sometimes it could be fun to reconize, while you are driving, that a powerful car is going to kiss your ass.

I apologize for my bad english, but I hope you understand me.... :)

The menu is enjoyable so , after a few gaming it become quickly natural :)
i have change the music allready just by choosing new ogg and give it the name of existing ones before replace it in their original folder ;) (i conserve the original ones in a save place .)
i don't know yet if they are played in random or not ... so it is a question :)

i do think the sound design is quiet important for the game , every details count in the sensation you can have for playing the sound of the engine and boost and chekpoints etc really partipate to the global sensation and i know as well that there is a lot of good sound designers in lyon ;)
i remenber of the Wipe out game the sound was really making the sensation with the others features !
Other wise it can be customisable and so become a mod possibilie , and the gamers that we are will appreciate customisable stuff ;)

Sure, if you have look in the folder where the game is installed, you'll find a lot of things that you can customize. Just be carefull with the bitmaps, not all the options for jpeg are supported, and don't forget do delete the resized bitmaps folders if you're not working in the base resolution (1600x1200). If you want to skin the interface, the best thing is to delete all the width x height and coef x coef folders of the bitmaps/interface folder, and to work in 1600x1200.
