No, scores and times will be reset only on the tracks that have changed.

I have a problem with Windows 7.

I'm currently using the NSR beta 2.5.5.

I had an issue installing because I got the missing next/finish etc.. buttons but I got through that.

I cannot run the game at all if I don't run it in compatibility mode but it does run if I set it to Vista or XP.

Using compatibility mode the game runs up ok and I can play a race.. but only one race! If I try another it crashes to windows, this has happened a number of times. I get these event log messages:

This one:

Faulting application name: NSR_S1.exe, version: 0.2.5.5, time stamp: 0x498c55c2

Sorry, NSR is not officially compatible with windows 7 yet.
Next update should not have these problems.

Hi. I'm just wondering when this next update will be? I've been hunting around the site/forum, and this seems to be the most recent mention of it. I'm not trying to pressure or anything, just looking for info. That said, a small patch just to resolve the Windows 7 thing would be greatly appreciated :) I'd like to play this more, but at this stage, I have to restart into the XP build to do that, which is kinda inconvenient.

Yeah we know, we're kinda late on this update  .
But now that Truck Racing by Renault Trucks is out, it's getting closer :? .
It's hard to just release an update that will just fix the problems on seven, as so many other things have changed..

I have Windows 7 and i have no problem with NSR. I use the 0.2.5.5 version.

I used to have troubles (crashing, freezes, etc) because the installation wasn't clean. I removed the program and then install it again and the problems disapeared.
You need an administrator Windows user in order to launch the game. If you don't have, change the properties of the launch link to fill the "run as" section with an administrator user.
But there is a little trouble, running NSR as an other user makes it recording in that user Windows document folder.

I had the same problem with running this, it crashed as soon as I double clicked the icon on my desktop. I have windows 7 64Bit.

I managed to get this working with a very simple right click on icon select properties then compatibility then click the "run this program in compatibility mode for....." I selected windows vista 32Bit

Worked like a charm and have been playing a few laps. Takes a bit of getting use to the upside down corners. I had to manually setup the Xbox controller tho and would have been nice if it was preset.

My first post on the forums so hope it helps you guys out that can't get it running.
