Nitro Stunt Racing

I just moved to vista x64 from XP x32 to match my new hardware. I'm trying like mad to get NSR to work but no deal. My controler works fine (Logitech Momo) in windows with x64 drivers. NSR looks like it's going to start with screen going black after i hit "launch" but then I get the "check for solution" box and here are the details.

I have the same problem. I wanted to try the demo, but the game crashes before it starts. I am using Wintows 7 Pro 32 bit. When I start the game, there appears the "check for solution" message. Here are the details:

I tried it with the versions 2.3.8 and 2.5.5 beta. Both of them have the same problem. If I use the Windows XP compatibility mode, the game starts and stays in task manager with 50% cpu usage (dualcore), but nothing happens.

Does the game need any additional drivers or runtime libraries etc?

I think the game uses OpenAL for audio, so it may be that it can't find that file and crashes.

I had NSR working on W7 Ultimate RC but I'm on W7 Pro x64 now. I'm about to check if it still works. :/

(if I find my serial and login that is. LOL.)

Apparently the game DIDN'T register when I installed it - I tried to register it through the start menu's registration form.

After doing that, the game now crashes itself whenever I try to load it.

So - there's something for you to look at. Registering the game breaks it, it seems.

Reinstall the game, but when it comes to registering your username, don't register (or just disconnect from the internet so it can't). the game should run but online records and multiplayer won't work. temporary fix maybe.

OpenAL is installed. I hope this problem will be solved with the coming update.
