Windows Vista 64 bit and logitech G25 Wheel

Postby khula on Wed Apr 30, 2008 17:45

Hi there I am using windows vista 64 and a logitech G25 racing wheel. The force feedback effects don't work correctly although the actual wheel does. Any ideas? It is definately a game issue as the wheel works fine in the control panel set up in windows...

Hi,

Have you installed the drivers of the G25 wheel (and are they compatible with Vista 64) ?
Can you test the force feedback in the control panel setup window ?

Hi! Yes I've installed the Logitech drivers version 5.02 which have vista 64 compatibility. The wheel works in the windows control panel. In the game the wheels and pedals work but the force feedback doesn't work on the track. It works when I go off the track and onto grass or gravel but as soon as I go on the road the force feedback stops working...

Maybe it works but you don't feel it.
If you feel something on the grass or the sand it means the force feedback is active.
Have you tried to go in the menu Options/Controller/Force Feedback to tweak each effects strength ?
