New official update available (0.2.3.8)

Postby Etienne on Fri Jul 25, 2008 15:09

Hi everyone,

The official update 0.2.3.8 of Nitro Stunt Racing is at last available !!  :D :D

To get it, just click on the "Check now" button in the NSR configuration window.

If your installation of NSR is on a PC that doesn't have access to Internet, and if your install is in English, German or Polish, you can also go directly here:
http://www.nitrostuntracing.com/cms/ind ... 20&lang=en

For Russian players, the right page is here :
http://www.nitrostuntracing.com/cms/ind ... 21&lang=en

In this new update, you'll get :

- New aerobatic track added (Twisted Iron)
- Intel Laptop Gaming TDK (Technology Development Kit) added. Battery and wifi quality information can be displayed in the game, you can activate it in the menu Options/HUD/Hardware Info
- Horn added
- Bug corrections (see corresponding forum)

For those who want, there's also a new complete version of the Stage 1 that includes all these new features, and it's there:

For all the volunteers : please use the beta forum to reports any critical bugs.

Note : we have changed the minimum recommended configuration for NSR. With the new Twisted Iron Track, it is not powerful enough. You should notice a frame rate difference between this track and the others, especially if your configuration was already low.

You may also wonder why there's so few new features and bug corrections ? and where is the multiplayer ?
Well it's because we've been working a lot on the multi these last month !
The multi beta update is coming soon, but we've preferred to separate these 2 updates.

Here we go, have a nice ride !!
