But plays 1000 times better! Really no comparison, and no nasty copy protection. If you enjoy really driving (and flying) action, this is the best game to come out in the last 10 years!!! And for €15 you just can't hesitate :)

Thanks Fred ;-)

I confirm, not starforce or other intrusive copy protection. Just the old but simple serial number sytem (which you can buy on our online shop : http://shop.nitrostuntracing.fr).
You need it to unlock the demo and to use the online ranking system.

Some facts:
Trackmania United will not have starforce since release free datadisk Forever. See info:
http://www.tm-united.com/eng/
http://united.tm-exchange.com/main.aspx ... =auto#auto
TMu include track editor and on TMX are hundred thousand maps , on CarPark hundred of 3d models + TMu have amazing multiplayer + big community. And most important TMu cost $22.45 + tax on steam.

And here is my question:

Stage2 and 3 are going to be free datadisk or not?

If you want to compare NSR to trackmania, you should compare the gameplay and the track design as well.
Building tracks with blocks is very convenient, but it leads to a lot of similar tracks.
So maybe comparing hundred thousand tracks to NSR tracks is just meaningless.
A lot of players love trackmania and we respect them (in fact a lot of our fans are trackmaniacs), but we are proposing something different.
We are a very small team and we have focused on quality rather than quantity.

We are developing NSR for several years and we would like to give it for free, but I'm sorry it's just not possible.
Maybe when we'll have sold hundred thousand units we'll give a version for free...
Don't forget Trackmania has been selling for several years before releasing a free version.

So Stage 2 and Stage 3 will probably not be free, sorry ;-)

It wasnt my intention to compare TMu and NSR - two evidently different kind of game. It was only reacting to Manteiga's post.

Will not be - ok

I wish you all good and i am looking to stage2 especialy multiplayer.

Yo

not realy true... there was demo of TMS .... realy great fun ... and why? ... there was MultiPlayer and therefore thousands players played it for months on these "lot of similar tracks" ..... until the free TMN comes out...

so like Tom.CZ.73 said ... looks interesting but i wait until stage2 .. so i hope the stage2 or MP will be out soon (?!) ...

If you say to everyone not to buy the game, there will never be a stage 2 neither multiplayer modes...

And if you compare a totaly free game with a demo, then there is a free version of NSR as well, which is... the NSR demo !

No i just saying that the TMS demo was so looong "playeble" also for the working multiplayer...

And you wrote nowhere that u looking for sponsors with stage1 and no sattisfied customers/players ...
